Nestled in the quiet valley of Vinodol, Hotel Village Balatura is a true gem far from the crowded Adriatic coast, offering a peaceful retreat surrounded by karst mountains and lush woods. the rustic charm of the building and the warm welcome from the friendly staff immediately set the tone for a relaxing stay. My room, overlooking the pool, was spacious, clean, and had a lovely balcony to enjoy the stunning sunset views. the large bathroom with a roll top bath tub added a touch of luxury to the experience. the newly renovated part where I stayed felt like a modern oasis within a historical setting. The highlight of my stay was undoubtedly the vegetarian restaurant. Each meal was a culinary masterpiece, expertly crafted with ingredients sourced from the valley. the ambiance of the restaurant and the delicious food created by chefs Tanja Ratković and Tea Đukić truly made dining here a memorable experience. The property offers more than just accommodation - with a pool, workshop space for cooking schools, and a seminar house, there's a perfect blend of relaxation and enrichment. the fantastic roof terrace at the seminar house provides breathtaking views and is ideal for group activities or simply unwinding with a good book. Hotel Village Balatura is not just a place to stay; it's a destination that fosters creativity and cultural exploration.
